India’s most inexpensive smartphone

Clearly targeting the entry level smartphone market, Alcatel introduced the Fire C. The handset runs on Mozilla’s Firefox mobile operating system, which is known for its capability to run on low-budget smartphones running less powerful hardware than even entry-level phones from Android. As a result, we see a slew of new Firefox OS phones in the Indian market. ALCATEL ONETOUCH Fire C gives another option to the feature phone customers to chose from in addition to other vendors Intex and Spice. At 1990/- price tag, this is the most inexpensive smartphone available in the Indian market, as Intex’s Cloud FX priced at 1999/- and Spice Fire One available at 2299/-. ALCATEL ONETOUCH Fire C is available exclusively through Flipkart, India’s largest e-commerce marketplace exclusively.

Features:

The entry-level Alcatel One Touch Fire C features a 3.5-inch HGVA display offering a resolution of 960×540 pixels and with a 314ppi. Under the hood, there is a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with mobile broadband and stereo FM radio RDS. Firefox is totally a web HTML based OS and the ALCATEL ONETOUCH Fire C runs on Firefox 1.3 version.

Performance:

The smartphone design is very basic and simple. There is just one circular home button on the device and there is a speaker on the rear next to the basic camera and a headphone jack at the top. The small handset is quite chunky but the curved shape makes it comfortable to hold in the hand, as well as light. FIRE C2G offers all of the features needed to capture, share and enjoy content. If we talk about the Firefox OS, which is totally a web HTML based OS, constitutes marketplace and best adaptive applications search along with rich media and social messaging apps support. The ALCATEL ONETOUCH Fire C allows you the flexibility and customisation of Firefox OS and gives you smooth and fast Firefox OS apps experience. The Alcatel One Touch Fire C features a 3.5-inch HGVA display offering a resolution of 960×540 pixels and with a 314ppi, the images are clear and crisp, the colors were vibrant and the viewing angles weren’t bad either.
