Facebook has introduced the new photo sharing app dubbed Moments in India and it is now available for Android and iOS users. Facebook has updated the app introducing a new video feature which creates an automated video collage of photos, minimum six images and music. The update will be rolled out in phases.
The app once installed, will work through a smartphone’s entire camera roll. With Facebook’s facial recognition software, users can grab anything that features what it recognizes as an image featuring Facebook friends. Users can search for photos of themselves, and friends and also save photos other people sync as well. These photos from the Moments app can also be shared social networking platforms such as Facebook, Facebook Messenger and Instagram but one disadvantage is you cannot share it via Twitter.
