Intex Technologies, owner of Gujarat Lions IPL Team, has recently been honoured and felicitated at the prestigious CMO Asia Awards 2017 held in Singapore for excellence in sports marketing for its two campaigns – ‘Chai With Keshav’ and ‘Dhaago Bandho Mannat Maango’. The awards were received by Ms Chetna Sundaram, Head-Digital Marketing, Intex Technologies, in the presence of Top 200 Brands and Digital Marketing companies from across Asia.
‘Chai With Keshav’ was a talk show on YouTube where Mr. Keshav Bansal, the owner of Gujarat Lions Team interacted with players from the team and talked about various aspects that influence & affect performance of the players, discuss about personal experiences that player had during the tournament and discuss on various aspects and technicalities of the game. The show was conceptualized keeping in mind the objective to bring the Gujarat Lion cricketers closer to their fans. ‘Dhaaga Bandho Mannat Maango’ campaign brought together fans of Gujarat Lions and gave them an opportunity to wish for their favourite team’s success in the most pious way. The campaign encouraged the fans to tie a dhaga around a wish tree and pray for their team’s victory.
