Budget device with IR blaster
Swipe is consciously focused on the affordable devices segment, where the consumer base is going to be the largest. Recently they have launched the third smartphone in ‘Elite’ series, after Elite and Elite 2 – Swipe Elite Note in sub 10k category which is a very competitive and difficult segment to play in.
And the challenge for the manufacturers like Swipe will be to scale up to meet the huge demand of 4G-enabled smartphones and also be to offer superior user experience by way of offering highly customizable user experience and the software. But Swipe has done a commendable job by keeping its price at Rs. 7999.

Performance:
We’ve been using this smartphone for over a week now, the design is very practical and feels good in your hand. But on the other side, it is a bit bulky as compared to other devices in this category. As this smartphone launched in a very competitive segment of under 10K that is now buzzing with lots of good innovative and stylish devices, Swipe Elite Note will face tough challenge from other brands. Though Elite note is a great step ahead by Swipe, apart from good design and a few selective features, this device doesn’t have any standout features to mention. On daily use case scenario, the device performed decent enough, weather calls made, camera or battery life. We noticed some software lag and heating issues with this device though.
Verdict: Though Elite note is a great step ahead by Swipe, apart from good design and a few selective features this device doesn’t have any standout features to mention.
Pros: Design, IR Blaster
Cons: Software lag
